  • Thursday, October 30: Chat with Medical Schools, 3-Year Accelerated Programs & Postbac Programs | 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. ET

Register Now to secure your spot!

Whether you’re still exploring your options or narrowing down your top choices, this fair is a valuable chance to ask questions, meet admissions representatives, and learn more about what makes each program unique. To help you prepare, we’ve put together a few dos and don’ts to ensure you leave a positive impression.

Dos for Attending the Fair

  • Do your homework. Research your top schools in advance—either on their websites or through the Medical School Admission Requirements™ (MSAR®) database.
  • Do know where you are. Pay attention to which virtual hall you’re visiting (4-year MD, 3-year MD, or postbac/special master’s programs) and tailor your questions accordingly.
  • Do come prepared. Create a list of specific, thoughtful questions to ask each school.
  • Do plan ahead. Review the event agenda before logging in so you can prioritize sessions and booths that interest you most.
  • Do communicate professionally. Use complete sentences, avoid slang, and check your spelling before hitting send.
  • Do be ready to share. Talk about your academic background, lab experience, volunteer work, and leadership roles to show how you’ve built your competencies and passion for medicine.

🚫 Don’ts for Attending the Fair

  • Don’t ask questions that can easily be answered by looking at a school’s website.
  • Don’t get impatient. Representatives may be juggling multiple chats at once—give them time to respond.
  • Don’t repeat questions to multiple people in the same booth.
  • Don’t log in from unreliable Wi-Fi. A stable internet connection helps ensure a smooth, professional interaction.
  • Don’t skip formalities. Address representatives respectfully, using appropriate titles such as Dr., Mr., or Ms.
  • Don’t forget to thank them! Always end your chat with a polite note of appreciation for their time and insight.
