Monica Thieu is an Emory FIRST (Fellowships in Research and Science Teaching) Postdoctoral Fellow with us in the Department of Psychology, and has appeared on ‘Jeopardy!’ four times. This last March, she placed second in Thieu placed second on her latest try, in a match during the quarter-finals of the first-ever “Jeopardy!” Invitational Tournament. She also researches memory and how the brains of those who excel at trivia (among other things) different. Her work has been published in the Psychonomic Bulletin and Review.
