As a new initiative, ASBMB has created a Writing Committee. We recruited two writers that will focus on reading recent research articles and synthesizing information to create a monthly newsletter. This research focused newsletter will allow members to read about current researchers and new discoveries!

Meet our two writers:

Sahithi Gangaram

Sahithi Gangaram is a first-year on the Oxford campus, and she’s from Plano, Texas. She is an undeclared major but is learning towards biology. Outside of writing for ASBMB’s newsletter, she is involved with Volunteer Oxford as a Junior Project Coordinator and Student Admissions Association as a tour guide. She enjoys running, painting, and watching sitcoms!

Priscilla Cho

Priscilla Cho is a junior at Emory’s College of Arts and Sciences, and she is from Knoxville, Tennessee. Priscilla is majoring in Chemistry, and outside of ASBMB, she also volunteers for Emory HOPE and is a natural sciences editor on EURJ. In her free time, Priscilla likes to bake and draw!
