Hi, I am Jason and my full name is Jingxuan Zhang. I am from Guangdong, China. I am currently a senior student majoring in Computer Science. I love high-tech things when I was a child, and that was why I chose to take Computer Science.
As a person who loves science much more than literature, I found that I am not quite interested in reading and writing. My Chinese score was the lowest among all eight disciplines when I was a student in China. And as a non-native English speaker, I also found that reading and writing in English was a challenge for me. Despite those facts, I will also try my best in this class. And I hope that I can largely improve my reading and writing skills by taking this class. I also found that having good reading and writing skills is extremely useful for my future life because reading and writing are one of the major ways that people communicate with each other. I am now quite interested in learning how to skim over articles and summarize the thesis of the articles because I found that this skill is one of the most important skills in reading.
