I have chosen the keyword LGBTQ rights discourse.
DEFINITION: I think it means anti-discriminatory and equitable treatment for LGBTQ people.
PURPOSE: I intend to create a presentation. An example of this format is text analysis, and some of the generic conventions of this format are a word map, a close reading, or a conceptual model
CONTENT: I intend to talk about my keyword about documentation regarding same-sex marriage, explanations of safe spaces, and statistics regarding the approach of the term.
COURSE THEMATIC: I think that my key concept intersects/overlaps with class in these ways: the term intersects with the case of reading and social backgrounds affect interpreting and the understanding of how identity can be approached.
QUESTIONS: I am struggling with/ cannot seem to figure out/ do not know how to approach what the main focus of LGBTQ rights might be. I would like more clarification on “how do I approach the term’s history?” I need support with sources for term history and terminology and themes associated with the term.
SOURCES: I have decided to use the following five sources, because: I wanted to focus on the record of South Korea and other locations’ perspective on LGBTQ rights.
