The cost of parking at Emory, whether for an employee or for a worker with temporary status, is typically considered a personal expense, and is NOT chargeable to sponsored programs? Parking is considered part of normal commuting costs and, like lunch, the employee pays. An exception is where the employee is in travel (other than commuting) status on behalf of the sponsored program. In that case the employee or temporary worker would seek reimbursement using a properly completed expense report.
