Q. If my proposal is denied do I have to re-enter all of the information and create a new proposal to route it again?

A. No.  If the proposal is accidentally denied or denied to allow corrections and has a status of “REF#”, once the necessary action has been taken, click Save and Route to re-route the proposal.  If the proposal was denied because it was no longer needed, the due date should be changed to 01/01/2001, as this will make it invisible to queries run by OSP.  Also, this proposal can be reused in the future if the PI remains the same.
