Changes in Finding Funding for Research Grants Online

In recent years, the University has utilized both the Illinois Research Information Service (IRIS) and Community of Science (COS) for the research community to find external sources of funding. But on July 1, 2012, both of these resources underwent changes that will change the use of these tools going forward at Emory; COS tripled its cost, and IRIS underwent a name change as well as an enhancement to the search platform.

As a result of the COS rate increase, Emory is unable to continue our. There are other resources available to you as you explore new research funding opportunities including Grants Forward with whom Emory opted not to renew has chosen to continue its subscription.   Within Grant Forward’s website is a more inclusive search of grant opportunities that is made possible using by the new customization and personalization features.

OSP and OGCA’s goal is to continue to provide you with the tools to help facilitate your research endeavors at Emory University.  For additional information on finding external funding, please visit our website at http://www.osp.emory.edu/links/.
