NIH issued a notice on January 16th then confirming their continued operations under a Continuing Resolution and also indicating that the Executive Level II salary was increased to $181,500. Because the CR ended with the approval of the full budget by Congress, and we have not yet seen the full DHHS appropriations bill or NIH budGet, OSP has confirmed with the NIH Office of Policy for Extramural Research Administration that the current salary cap is now $181,500, effective 1/12/14.
This new cap may be used in all NIH proposals.
