In response to requests from Emory staff who work in 1599, on Tuesday, April 8th, the 1599 Building will transition to secured access via Emory ID/Prox Card Access only. 

• If you work in the 1599 Building, please be prepared to carry your Emory ID Prox Card for building access starting Tuesday, April 8th.   Lanyards are available at the Reception Desk for all occupants.
• Emory Faculty, Staff and Visitors can access the building during business hours (7:30am-6pm) via the Lobby.  They must sign in and out at reception and show a picture ID.  The Clifton Road entrance will only be accessible by occupants.   
• Occupants should notify the reception desk via the 1599@emory.edu email in advance when expecting visitors.  They will need to retrieve their guest at the lobby or elevator landing door.  If reception is not notified in advance and they are not able to reach the host occupant, the visitor will not be permitted entry past the lobby area.
