This new process allows Principle Investigators (PIs) to start their projects and charge against the SmartKeys prior to submitting a detailed budget for single-, or multi-project awards. \u00a0This new process is in response to conversations with Emory PIs, department chairs, deans and research administration personnel, and follows a detailed evaluation of the Compass software modifications needed to streamline the processing of awards.<\/p>\n<p>As a part of this process, a budget will be loaded with $100.
