{"id":631,"date":"2013-02-01T10:00:53","date_gmt":"2013-02-01T14:00:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.emory.edu\/ranews\/?p=631"},"modified":"2013-02-01T10:00:53","modified_gmt":"2013-02-01T14:00:53","slug":"research-gov-implementation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/scholarblogs.emory.edu\/ranews\/2013\/02\/01\/research-gov-implementation\/","title":{"rendered":"Research.gov Implementation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>By March 15, 2013, the FastLane Project Reporting System will no longer be accessible.\u00a0 PI\u2019s will be required to submit their annual, final, and interim project reports using Research.gov starting March 18, 2013.<\/p>\n<p>There is no guarantee of transference of information.\u00a0 Any reports that are prepared in but are not submitted in FastLane prior to February 1, 2013 may have to be re-entered using Research.gov. Therefore to ensure a smooth transition for Emory PI\u2019s we are asking that PI\u2019s comply with the following recommendations from NSF.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The following instances require that you complete and submit project reports in <strong><em>FastLane<\/em> ON<\/strong> or <strong>BEFORE<\/strong> January 31, 2013.\n<ul>\n<li>Projects that are due prior to January 31, 2013<\/li>\n<li>Projects that may become overdue prior to January 31, 2013<\/li>\n<li>The following instances require PI\u2019s complete and submit project reports in <strong><em>Research.gov<\/em><\/strong>.\n<ul>\n<li>New project reports beginning February 1, 2013<\/li>\n<li>Project reports that are due on or after January 31, 2013<\/li>\n<li>Project reports that were due on or before January 31, 2013 that is now overdue. NSF will grant extensions for project reports that have a due date between January 31, 2013 and April 30, 2013.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Your NSF ID and password will allow you to log into Research.gov. \u00a0Visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.research.gov\/research-portal\/appmanager\/base\/desktop?_nfpb=true&amp;_pageLabel=research_home_page\">Research.gov<\/a> and click the Project Reports link for additional resources including a Getting Started Guide, frequently asked questions, and fact sheets.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By March 15, 2013, the FastLane Project Reporting System will no longer be accessible.\u00a0 PI\u2019s will be required to submit their annual, final, and interim project reports using Research.gov starting March 18, 2013.
