Led by Dr. Stephanie Eick, our research group is comprised of interdisciplinary researchers in environmental health sciences and epidemiology. Broadly, our research focuses on the impact of chemical and non-chemical stressors on health outcomes. Much of this work leverages prospective birth cohorts. Ultimately, our goal is to improve our understanding of environmental inequalities within the context of maternal and child health.
Research themes:
- Perinatal health
- Endocrine disrupting chemicals
- Persistent organic pollutants
- Psychosocial stress
- Chemical mixtures
- Biological mechanisms
