The goal is to keep the big data perspective in the trainee\u2019s research to help them understand how this fits into their work and expand the types of data they are analyzing.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/details>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>Eligible Mentors must be willing to the TADA-Certified, which requires the following:<\/strong> \u00a0<\/summary>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Participation in &gt;1 of Emory\u2019s Inclusive Pedagogy workshops, offered by Emory\u2019s Center for Faculty Development and Excellence (within the past 3 years of the first semester of mentoring).\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participation in TADA\u2019s mentor training program, led by Dr. Dawn Comeau (offered early Spring semester).\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/details>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>Matching Mentors with Funded Trainees:<\/strong><\/summary>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>TADA Directors will match all funded trainees with 2 TADA-certified mentors after they have passed their comprehensive exams.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One mentor will focus on SUD research and interventions&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The other mentor will focus primarily on advanced data science methods.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Link to roster of TADA Mentors: <a href=\"https:\/\/scholarblogs.emory.edu\/rollinssudprogram\/tada-program\/tada-faculty\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/scholarblogs.emory.edu\/rollinssudprogram\/tada-program\/tada-faculty\/<\/a>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The trainee may reach out to potential mentors or ask for TADA directors to connect them.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once selected, mentors will meet with the student and the TADA Directors to get an overview of their role and the trainee\u2019s research interest.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>TADA Directors will reach out to the trainee\u2019s Dissertation Chair to connect them with at least one TADA mentor.
