My research is about what contributes to a good life and how social and ecological systems interact to shape well-being. I seek to understand how well-being is affected by changing ecosystems, landscapes, and climates. I am researching how social and ecological systems interact to shape human and animal well-being in mountain areas. I study the impact of climate, landscape, and ecological change on farmers and beekeepers.
