Hola! My name is Brandon Schettler, and I’m a senior at Emory University studying Creative Writing and Spanish. Even though I knew very little Spanish growing up, after taking a class at Emory, I realized that bilingualism deeply interested me. In Spring 2020, I had the incredible opportunity to study abroad in Salamanca, Spain. During that time, I lived with a host family, took a variety of Spanish classes, experienced the local culture (tapas, anyone?), and got to travel to a few places within Spain and Portugal. I also love music, cooking, fiction writing, and dogs. I can’t wait to share some of my experiences with you!
