Hello! My name is Layth and I am a senior double majoring in Arabic and Biology. I spent the summer between my freshman and sophomore years studying Arabic at Al-Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco, and I spent the spring 2020 semester of my junior year studying at the University of St. Andrews in St. Andrews, Scotland. I was ecstatic to find study abroad programs that offered classes for my majors. Breaking away from a metropolis such as Atlanta and studying in a small town with easy access to gorgeous countryside and historic cities excited the traveler in me. Furthermore, being surrounded by a new culture provided a refreshing and learning experience. I look forward to sharing with you everything Morocco and Scotland shared with me.
