Rose Tehrani

Hi there! I’m Rose, a fourth-year from midtown Atlanta majoring in Biology and Spanish. I studied abroad in Salamanca, Spain, last spring with the Emory Salamanca Program, through which I not only got to explore the beautiful city that is Salamanca but also other cities across Spain and even Portugal, like Madrid and Lisbon, respectively. Throughout my time abroad I experienced the rich culture of Spain first-hand all while meeting natives and students from across the world, sharing my own culture and personal experiences along the way. Studying abroad allowed me to jump outside of my comfort zone and discover passions I never knew I had, like bilingual education. Apart from being a student, I’m a music enthusiast, I love soccer (or shall I say, fútbol!), and I enjoy baking! I’m grateful to serve as an Emory Explorer and I look forward to reliving my journey with you!
