The Eiffel Tower, as many people know, has the names of many different scientists displayed on it. Specifically, Marie Fran\u00e7ois Xavier Bichat is one of these. In terms of this class, Bichat introduced the concept of the sympathetic chain of ganglions having a nervous system, which is independent of the central nervous system.
