There are tens of millions of Americans living with vestibular dysfunction. Although vestibular rehabilitation is effective, many patients experience chronic dizziness and increased risk for falls. The long-term goals of the Applied Vestibular Physiology Laboratory relate to developing novel methods for evaluating and treating imbalance, gait ataxia, gaze instability, and impaired vestibular cognition in this underserved population.
