{"id":1077,"date":"2020-04-13T07:09:00","date_gmt":"2020-04-13T11:09:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/scholarblogs.emory.edu\/whscl-news\/?p=1077"},"modified":"2020-05-01T10:51:31","modified_gmt":"2020-05-01T14:51:31","slug":"accessing-library-resources-and-full-text","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/scholarblogs.emory.edu\/whscl-news\/?p=1077","title":{"rendered":"Accessing Library Resources and Full Text"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>As more and more people are accessing library resources and subscriptions remotely, below are a few tips for making sure you can always get to the Emory licensed content.\u00a0 If you suddenly start receiving error messages saying <strong>\u201c<\/strong><strong>Access Denied, this NetID does not have access to this resource\u201d<\/strong> please be sure to <strong>clear your browser cache and\/or try a fresh browser<\/strong>.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-1078 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/scholarblogs.emory.edu\/whscl-news\/files\/2020\/04\/find-it-at-emory.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"166\" height=\"53\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In order to access full text articles from database search results, always start from the proxy links available on the library\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/guides.libraries.emory.edu\/az.php?s=13896\"><strong>database<\/strong><\/a> page.\u00a0 Then, from the results list, look for the FindIt@Emory icon next to the citation or abstract to be taken to the Emory Libraries&#8217; subscription page specific for that article. \u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If the item is available via Emory&#8217;s electronic subscription, there will be a direct link to the online article.<\/li>\n<li>If the article is not available either electronically,\u00a0 use the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/illiad.library.emory.edu\/logon\/\"><strong>Request via Interlibrary Loan<\/strong><\/a> link provided to request a digital copy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Finally, use <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/browzine.com\/libraries\/481\/subjects\">BrowZine<\/a><\/strong> to stay current with\u00a0your favorite journals.\u00a0 Available in both a desktop version and as an app for\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/browzine\/id463787411?mt=8\">iOS<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.browzine\">Android<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0devices, BrowZine lets you easily browse the contents of your favorite journals, save articles to be read later, and set up ontificaitons when new articles and issues become available.
