In honor of Black History Month, the Woodruff Health Sciences Center Library will present an online film screening of Black Men in White Coats. <\/b><\/p>\n

Synopsis<\/b>: Less Black men applied to medical school in 2014 than in 1978 and Black men have the lowest life expectancy in the United States. With only 2% of American doctors being Black men, this comes as no surprise. \u00a0This documentary dissects the systemic barriers preventing Black men from becoming medical doctors and the consequences on society at large.<\/p>\n

Screening Dates: February 17, 2021 <\/b>@ 6PM through\u00a0February 20, 2021\u00a0<\/b>@ 6PM. Limited to 300 viewers.\u00a0 CLICK HERE TO REGISTER<\/a>. A confirmation email will be sent with a link to view film between the referenced dates.<\/p>\n
