On Wednesday, March 9th, the Emory University Libraries (EUL) will migrate the following websites to a new content management system. In addition to migrating to a new content management system, the sites will be consolidated underneath the https://libraries.emory.edu domain, which will change the URLs for Business, Health, and Rose libraries.
- https://business.library.emory.edu URLs will redirect to https://libraries.emory.edu/business
- https://health.library.emory.edu URLs will redirect to https://libraries.emory.edu/health
- https://rose.library.emory.edu URLs will redirect to https://libraries.emory.edu/rose
- https://libraries.emory.edu will remain at the same URL.
Users of the website are encouraged to update any links to the new updated URLs. On Wednesday, users of these websites may experience unexpected behavior. The Emory community is encouraged to submit feedback via the website’s feedback form.
This migration helps EUL move one step closer to its long-term goal of bringing the EUL family of websites under one unified web presence. The EUL Web Redesign project began in 2018 with an engagement with Viget – a design, engineering, and strategy firm that served as a digital partner and expert providing a vision for a redesigned digital presence for the EUL family of libraries. The project resumed at the beginning of Fall 2021 when the Libraries undertook a migration of its websites to Drupal, a content management system hosted by Acquia. The discovery and design phase included user research, information architecture, user experience design, interaction, and visual design.
