Working with library administration and the Operations and Access team, the Instruction and Engagement team decided to proceed with the event and give students on the Atlanta campus a chance to de-stress with a furry friend.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><a href=\"https:\/\/scholarblogs.emory.edu\/woodruff\/files\/2024\/05\/image002.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-16819\" src=\"https:\/\/scholarblogs.emory.edu\/woodruff\/files\/2024\/05\/image002-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"A golden retriever offers her paws to a kneeling student.\" width=\"250\" height=\"334\" srcset=\"https:\/\/scholarblogs.emory.edu\/woodruff\/files\/2024\/05\/image002-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/scholarblogs.emory.edu\/woodruff\/files\/2024\/05\/image002.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 250px) 100vw, 250px\" \/><\/a>All in all, Paws &amp; Relax was a tremendous success! Through the <a href=\"https:\/\/scholarblogs.emory.edu\/woodruff\/news\/de-stress-at-paws-and-relax-study-break\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"0\">promotional work<\/a> of the Campus and Community Relations team, postings on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/emorylibrary\/\">Instagram<\/a>, and by word-of-mouth, we brought <b><u>357 students<\/u> <\/b>to the library, two-thirds of whom showed up as walk-in appointments. We had 12 therapy dog owners affiliated with the <a title=\"Original URL: https:\/\/www.therapydogs.com\/.
