Information Technology Services (LITS) is offering 7 fellowships for 2015-2016.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Five Woodruff\/ECDS Graduate Fellowships (available to any full time students in a doctoral program in candidacy at the time of application) <a href=\"http:\/\/web.library.emory.edu\/documents\/Library%20Graduate%20Fellows%202015-16%20appls%20skills%20sheet.pdf\">Woodruff Library and Emory Center for Digital Scholarhip Graduate Fellowships<\/a>\u00a0&#8211; apply by Feb. 27, 2015.<\/li>\n<li>One Newton Graduate Fellowship (available to any full time students in a doctoral program,) <a href=\"http:\/\/web.library.emory.edu\/documents\/Anne%20Bill%20Newton%20Graduate%20Fellows%202015-16%20appls%20skills%20sheet1.pdf\">Anne and Bill Newton Graduate Fellowships in the Manuscript, Archives, and Rare Book Library (MARBL)<\/a> &#8211; apply by March 6, 2015.<\/li>\n<li>One Beck Graduate Fellowship om Emory Center for Digital Scholarship (available to any full time students in a doctoral program) <a href=\"http:\/\/web.library.emory.edu\/documents\/Beck%20Graduate%20Fellows%2015-16.pdf\">ECDS Beck Foundation Fellowship<\/a> &#8211; apply by February 27, 2015<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All fellows will work 16 hours per week in the library and receive a $18,000 stipend (subject to adjustment by LGS).\u00a0 The five Woodruff\/ECDS Graduate fellows identify a primary area of interest, either Manuscript, Archives and Rare Book Library (MARBL); Subject Librarian\/Collection Management Services; Education and Outreach, or the Emory Center for Digital Scholarship (Data or Digital Humanities).<\/p>\n<p>The dissertation completion fellow in MARBL will focus on the organization, management, and access of rare book and archival materials.\u00a0 The Outreach &amp; Education fellow will partner with the Writing Center programs to help improve student research projects.\u00a0\u00a0 The subject librarian fellow can propose a variety of projects, based on the fellow&#8217;s skills and strengths, that deal with library services or collections.\u00a0 Finally, the two ECDS fellows will work with either data or digital humanities.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the MARBL fellow mentioned above, LITS is also accepting applications for the Anne &amp; Bill Newton Fellowship, generously funded by the Newton family.\u00a0 This fellow will help in researching, designing, and assessing alternative instruction models in connection with MARBL\u2019s instruction program.\u00a0 Unlike the\u00a0Woodruff\/ECDS Graduate fellows, the Newton fellow is not required to finish their dissertation during the 9 month fellowship period.<\/p>\n<p>Funded by the Lewis Beck Foundation, Emory Center for Digital Scholarship will award one fellowship for 2015-2016 (9 month stipend) to an advanced graduate student to \u00a0learn about methods in digital scholarship including text markup with xml, text analysis, digital publishing, web site building and possibly, programming for website production.\u00a0 Like the Newton fellow, the Beck fellow is not required to finish their dissertation during the 9 month fellowship period.<\/p>\n<p>Again, please read the each applications for specific details:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/web.library.emory.edu\/documents\/Library%20Graduate%20Fellows%202015-16%20appls%20skills%20sheet.pdf\">Woodruff Library and Emory Center for Digital Scholarhip Graduate Fellowships<\/a>\u00a0&#8211;
