Important: change for accessing library resources

shibboleth log inBeginning January 12, 2015, the Emory Libraries will implement the same login process for accessing e-books, e-journals, databases, and other online library licensed content as is currently used by other Emory resources, such as Compass and HR Self-Service.   Authorized Emory University and Healthcare faculty, staff, and students will be required to use their netid and password to login once per session when accessing library licensed content both on or off campus. You will need to access e-books, e-journals, and databases from a library webpage.  You can begin with the library site you visit most frequently or directly from discoverE .  Beginning with an Emory library webpage identifies you as affiliated with Emory and will provide the most complete access to resources the libraries have licensed.  If you have previously bookmarked e-journals, e-books or databases, you will need to redo these bookmarks by accessing the bookmarked resource from a library page, and bookmarking it again.  The new bookmark will include ‘proxy.library.emory.edu’ which will properly identify you as affiliated with Emory. If you have questions, please contact ox-librarystaff [at] listserv [dot] cc [dot] emory [dot] edu or call the Oxford library directly at 770-784-8380.
