DIY Learning Analytics using Microsoft Excel

ApplyNowThis half-day workshop will introduce participants to methods for analyzing, visualizing, and sharing educational data using Microsoft Excel. Participants will be led through a series of hands-on exercises using a data about student retention, student performance, and learning management utilization. At the end of the workshop, participants will have gained knowledge and created templates that they can immediately put to use within their own educational environments.

Please note that this event is open to Emory University students, staff, and faculty only.

Requirements:

  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Facilitator Bio
Patrick LeBlanc is a Microsoft SQL Server and Business Intelligence Technical Solution Professional. He is the author and co-author of four SQL Server books. Along with his 10+ years experience he holds a Masters of Science degree from Louisiana State University. Prior to joining Microsoft he was awarded Microsoft MVP award for his contributions to the community.
