Designed as an interactive teaching suite, the Strickland Jazz Studio is a multi-use facility which allows students to experience jazz through collaboration and connectivity to the global community.

From virtual production software to social media, students are introduced to the rich heritage and tradition of jazz through non-traditional methods. The state of the art studio is named for songwriter and producer Robert Strickland 87C. Strickland’s generosity and subsequent service as a technology and production consultant to the jazz program has allowed for the creation of a space with which students can benefit from a comprehensive jazz education experience.
