Module 4: Facilitating Online Discussion

In the fourth EFOT module, we work together on best practices in facilitating online discussion. We begin by learning about the Community of Inquiry Framework and considering how we have already begun creating a learning community through welcome videos and introductions. We will then discuss and develop discussion rubrics through both synchronous and asynchronous sessions and begin crafting our teaching personas in light of the needs of a classroom community. In the end of the module, we will compose blog posts that examine course activities we are developing in light of the Community of Inquiry Framework.
