Quite a few of us use alternative transportation. My van pool arrives on campus at 6 a.m. and leave between 3:00 o’clock and 3:30 which makes it not feasible to attend functions that start later in the day. I might not be the only one in this situation, but, maybe some events can be a little earlier giving those who do use alternative transportation a chance to participate and socialize with other colleagues we rarely have a chance to mingle with. I know sometimes that’s not possible, but, I thought I’d ask anyway. Thanks for listening.
Betty, I will pass your concerns along to the planning committee. Thanks!
