Welcome back! Spring semester can feel hectic hopefully these library tips will help make your spring feel less stressful.
Library Spaces:
Looking for a place to study or meet with your club?
Library study rooms are located on the second floor of the library and are open for use from during all library hours and can be booked for up to 3 hours. Library classrooms when not reserved for an event serve as quiet study spaces. If you want a suggestion library staff universally love the green chairs near the patio facing windows.
Technology
The library checks out a huge variety of technology, from laptops and iPads to projectors and button makers.
Beyond the technology available for checkout, the library has computers available for students with software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
Printing
The library has a black and white, and a color printer available for use. The easiest way to print either at the library or at any Emory printer is to upload your document to Eagleprint website. Once your document has been uploaded and your print options selected, you then just need to swipe your Emory ID at either of the library printers. Tip: make sure you are at the correct printer for the printing option you selected, so if you selected color make sure you swipe your card at a color printer. If you aren’t at the right printer you document will not show up in your print queue

Need a break?
Don’t spend all your time this semester on studying! The library has a great collection of popular reading including our large graphic novel collection.
The library also purchases a host of other popular reading which can be browsed on the first floor of the building or you can search for titles in Library Search. You can request books from any of the Emory libraries and pick them up at Oxford Library. Additionally check out the Emory Libraries Overdrive Collection, if you enjoy reading eBooks or audiobooks.
Want a book but, Emory Library’s doesn’t own it feel free to suggest a purchase!
Finally check out a board game from the libraries extensive game collection. If you like board games, look forward to the Library’s Game Night a semesterly event where the library invites all students to play games and enjoy food and treats at the library. Game night this semester will be on February 20th, 2026 7pm-11pm.
We hope this information helps you have a smooth semester, but if you ever have any questions always feel free to reach out to library staff!
