Join the library each day between April 10th and April 14th to participate in our festivities for National Library Week 2017. National Library Week was created to celebrate the contributions of our nation’s libraries and library workers and to promote library use and support. We want to use this time to show our support of YOU!
Each day, participate in our Guess the Book activities, guess the correct answer, and you will entered into a raffle to receive a prize!
Schedule:
Monday:
- Guess the book in a jar – Guess correctly and you are entered in a raffle to win a prize!
- Use the provided Speech bubbles to tell everyone what you love about the Library
- Make your own Lego Creations!
Tuesday:
- Guess the book in a jar – Guess correctly and you are entered in a raffle to win a prize!
- Use the provided Speech bubbles to tell everyone what you love about the Library
- Dooley in the Dewey Facebook photo contest
- Check by the front desk or social media (@OxLibrary) for the clue.
- Find the Dooley doll and take a picture with him.
- Post this picture on social media and make sure to tag the library!
- You will be entered for a raffle to will a special prize!
Wednesday:
- Guess the Book using the clues provided- Guess correctly and you are entered in a raffle to win a prize!
- Use the provided Speech bubbles to tell everyone what you love about the Library
- We will be providing CUPCAKES to the first 50 students starting at 6pm
- Make your own Lego Creations!
Thursday:

- Use the provided Speech bubbles to tell everyone what you love about the Library
- Come make your own buttons! Use the library’s provided materials to make buttons!
- Make your own Lego Creations!
Friday:
