Students: Submit your work by March 24 for the Elizabeth Long Atwood Award

Dear Emory Undergraduate Students,

Emory Libraries invites your applications for the Elizabeth Long Atwood Undergraduate Research Award. Four $1,000 prizes will be granted for original papers, digital projects, or posters exhibiting outstanding library research skills, scholarly vigor, and originality.

You are eligible to apply if:

  • You are a currently enrolled undergraduate student at Emory University
  • The submitted research project in the form of a paper, digital project, or poster was completed since March 1 of the preceding year (2023) for an Emory University credit-bearing course
  • Participants authorize library staff to display their research project for public viewing following receipt of the award

The deadline to submit your applications is Sunday, March 24, 2024, at 11:59 p.m.
