On December 16, the library system that supplies information to discoverE is changing. We are replacing the software that library staff use to order, invoice, catalog, and circulate library materials. During the transition to the new system, there will be limited access to library resources.
TRANSITION PERIOD – Dec. 11 – Jan. 4
Limited Access:
– Requesting, holds, recalls, e-shelf, Document Delivery, and other ‘my account’ features in discoverE will be unavailable. Place requests directly to us via phone, 770-784-8380 or via our staff listserv.
– Online renewals will be unavailable. Call or email us to renew. No fines will be charged during this transition period.
– Adding items from discoverE to Reserves will be unavailable.
Available During Transition:
– Circulation check-outs and returns will continue to occur at the library service desk.
– Course Reserves (Ares) will be accessible via Blackboard and directly at: https://reserves.library.emory.edu.
– Any book or document delivery requests may be placed via Interlibrary Loan (the ILLiad system).
– Ebooks via OverDrive will be available.
Change to EJOURNALS:
Library users will be able to search a new interface for ejournals A-Z directly within discoverE.
After Dec 16, ejournals@emory will redirect to a new ejournals A-Z list, found also as a TAB of the library’s discoverE tool. (See screenshot below).
