The SGA Library Committee wants to get feedback from students about the Oxford College Library. This committee meets every two weeks to discuss events, services and improvements to make the library a place students want to be. Helen Zhu is the Chair of the SGA Library Committee and writes:
As many of you may know, or not know, the library committee serves as the voice of the student body to the library. Contrast to common perception, even a new library can be improved. Throughout the semester, my committee has been working hard to address many concerns, such as the noise level. While it may seem like an easy problem, there are multiple factors that needs to be taken into account. But rest assured, your concerns are heard and it will be resolved. On a brighter note, some things that you may want to look out for next semester is our Lock In event in April (there will be more details as it gets closer) and our Course Advising Event sometime before course selection for next year. We are also trying to get extended hours in the library during finals week next semester, which brings me to my next point. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take the this survey https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1bCrPAzVAkj0rHEcVVCnWkgi0kcx_5BJzaZhqwMRa7JQ/viewform . Changes cannot be implemented unless YOUR voice is raised! To conclude, I wish you all a wonderful and merry break! Eat up ,rest up and see you next semester! And as always, feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns 🙂
