Announcing the 2023 Colloquium Series

Join us in Spring 2023 for the return of the Philosophy Colloquium Series. Presented by Philosophy faculty on their own research projects, the colloquia provide opportunities for all Emory faculty and students to take part in the intellectual life of the community. Talks will be followed by a question and answer discussion and an informal wine and cheese reception.

Held on Thursdays from 4:30-6:30pm, this series will feature two talks by Emory Philosophy faculty – Cynthia Willett (January 19, Whitehall Room 112), who will discuss her new book Uproarious: How Feminists and Other Subversive Comics Speak Truth with guests Drs. Luvell Anderson and Marta Jimenez, and Andrew Mitchell, who will discuss Heidegger’s Dionysus. See flyers below for more details.
