The new exhibit gallery at the Pitts Theology Library opened on September 15th. We invite you to come and see this beautiful space and explore the Fall exhibit, “Martin Luther’s Reform of University & Church.” The gallery is open during all regular library hours. You can learn more about the gallery and view pictures online.
In coordination with the centennial celebration of the Candler School of Theology, this first exhibit explores the question of theological education during the Reformation period. On display are works that provide the context for and content of the Reformers’ ideas on education, including original works by Erasmus, Luther, Melanchthon, and many others. You can learn more about the exhibit online, where you can read or download the exhibit catalog or watch videos of subject matter experts introducing some of the most important items on display.
If you have questions about the gallery or the exhibit, please contact a Pitts Reference Librarian.
