Reading Journal 11 – Dylan Gandy

While there were so many great readings this semester (you did an excellent job Tyler), I would highly recommend adding a reading about queer and disability intersection. I felt this was an area that was often overlooked in the class but could be an experience many students would benefit from engaging in.

If you want a more personal story of a disabled queer person trying to live their life, I would recommend this blog post. It’s really short and shouldn’t take anyone very long to read the content.

If you’re looking for something more policy/real world, there is this podcast episode about disability and LGBT justice (there is a transcript as well for anyone who might have trouble listening to the audio or like’s something to read along with).
