By March 15, 2013, the FastLane Project Reporting System will no longer be accessible.  PI’s will be required to submit their annual, final, and interim project reports using Research.gov starting March 18, 2013.

There is no guarantee of transference of information.  Any reports that are prepared in but are not submitted in FastLane prior to February 1, 2013 may have to be re-entered using Research.gov. Therefore to ensure a smooth transition for Emory PI’s we are asking that PI’s comply with the following recommendations from NSF.

• The following instances require that you complete and submit project reports in FastLane ON or BEFORE January 31, 2013.
  • Projects that are due prior to January 31, 2013
  • Projects that may become overdue prior to January 31, 2013
  • The following instances require PI’s complete and submit project reports in Research.gov.
    • New project reports beginning February 1, 2013
    • Project reports that are due on or after January 31, 2013
    • Project reports that were due on or before January 31, 2013 that is now overdue. NSF will grant extensions for project reports that have a due date between January 31, 2013 and April 30, 2013.
