- Note the following information regarding Public Health Service sponsored projects and subcontractors/subrecipients:
- Emory subcontractors do not need to complete other institution’s financial interest disclosure forms. Emory has a COI policy and will cover its investigators.
- Receipt of forms, from other institutions, requiring certification that Emory has a COI policy and/or investigators have completed training, should be forwarded to OSP for further review and approval.
- When Emory is the prime awardee and plans to use subcontractors, outside entity must complete:
- Statement of Intent to Submit a Consortium Agreement (OSP website) at the time of proposed submission
- Outside investigators complete Emory’s external disclosure form (OSP website) only if they certify on the Consortium Agreement, that they do not have a COI policy and agree to abide by Emory’s policy. This form must be renewed at the time of the progress report submission.
- If an investigator is added to any project, they need to complete a financial interest in research disclosure form for that project within 30 days of engaging in the project.
