The hazard assessment included with Chemicals in Animals approval letters has a new look! This new format applies to the Division of Animal Resources (DAR) protocols.
The hazard assessment included in Yerkes protocol approval letters will remain unchanged.
Please note – for those administering Level 3 Agents, as indicated by your approval letter and hazard assessment, the hazard assessment will include a hazard sign on the second page. This sign will need to be printed and posted on the animal room door, cage rack, and animal cages in the DAR.
If you have any questions about the hazard assessment or how to submit a Chemicals in Animals form, please contact EHSO at csp@emory.edu.
