Support for Developing Your Prospective Research Budget

Many investigators seek industry or foundation funding to support their research concepts. As part of the funding application process, a prospective budget is required. This budget serves as a financial blueprint, providing a detailed estimate of all costs necessary to conduct the proposed research—including both direct and indirect expenses.

The Office for Clinical Research (OCR) is here to help you develop a strong, compliant prospective budget. Our team of Lead Clinical Research Finance Managers brings extensive experience in clinical research, billing compliance, and budget development.

If you need assistance, please contact us at ocr_preaward@emory.edu.

For federal funding requests, please initiate your budget through your RAS department. We will work with RAS to create an accurate budget to fit your concept needs.
