Lancet Countdown
Since 2019, Emory has been an official member of the Lancet Countdown Project. The Lancet Countdown tracks the world’s response to climate change, and the health benefits that emerge from this transition. It is a collaboration of over 120 leading experts from academic institutions and United Nations (UN) agencies across the globe, bringing together climate scientists, engineers, energy specialists, economists, political scientists, public health professionals and doctors. Our team contributes the wildfire exposure and fire risk indicator to the Lancet Countdown report.
