About the Blog

Whether your adventures have yet to begin or you are already reminiscing on your experience, welcome to Emory Explorers, the official blog about studying and interning abroad through Emory College’s  (view our mission and vision)!

The blogs on this site are intended for students at any stage of the study/intern abroad process. We also encourage prospective study/intern abroad students to learn more about opportunities and application processes through our website.

This blog and its contents are administered by the Office of International and Summer Programs (OISP) in Emory College. The blogs are written by Emory College students who are spending or have spent a summer, semester, or year overseas through one of Emory College’s approved study abroad or global internship programs around the world. Our students are encouraged to write authentic posts that showcase their study or intern abroad experience, including the benefits and challenges of studying/interning abroad. Opinions and advice expressed by students on this blog do not necessarily reflect the views of OISP or Emory University.

If you have a suggestion for a blog topic or are interested in applying for an Emory Explorer position, please email studyabroad [at] emory [dot] edu. All Emory College Abroad alumni (study abroad or global internships) may submit a blog or vlog through our online submission form. We also welcome submission of photos or short videos that capture your memories abroad.
