Hello! I am an English Professor at Emory University, and this page is for my English 212 course on Harry Potter. My students will be posting their essays here as blog posts, primarily as a way to open conversations about the intellectual and critical value of the Harry Potter texts as explorations of universal truths of human nature, as well as the value of investigating the entire Harry Potter phenomenon for what it tells us about our culture today.
