“You Filled My Cup”

“You filled my cup” is one of the many comments Woodruff Library staff heard from the students who attended the Pet Therapy Study Break at the library on Friday December 5.

While library staff did indeed fill many cups — i.e. water bowls — the ones who REALLY provided the “cup-filling” were the wonderful dogs and volunteers from Canine Assistants. Canine Assistants is an organization that trains service and seizure-response dogs to help people with physical and emotional needs.

230+ students, stressed by end-of-semester projects, final exams, and even those who just missed their own dogs and needed some canine kisses, attended the 6 hour event held in the Jones Room.
