Emory Overleaf Pro+ Subscription Now Available!

We are happy to announce the launch of an institutional subscription to Overleaf Pro+, a collaborative online writing tool using LaTex, which is very popular in a number of science and social disciplines due to its ability to handle technical writing. Due to significant demand from existing users of the free and individual paid versions across multiple departments (including Math, Political Science, Environmental Studies and Computer Science), LITS decided to invest in an institutional account.

The Overleaf Pro+ institutional subscription provides for greater collaboration capabilities (for example, use across/within research labs), access control, greater storage allowances, and the addition of Emory-specific templates for research documents, as requested by Emory users!

Users should register with their Emory email address if they already have an account (with another email address), and should receive a refund if they have already have a paid individual account.

We have customized a guide for getting started with Overleaf at Emory here.  The guide outlines registering, the process for adding templates, support, and connecting Overleaf Pro+ to reference managers!  Overleaf also produces numerous introductory and training videos, available on the Emory libguide.
