The Subject Librarians Humanities Team has just launched a website to complement their new exhibit “Do I dare disturb the universe?” The Environment and the Humanities, which opened earlier this year on Woodruff Library’s entry level atrium.
The website makes much of the exhibit’s content about environmental humanities resources and projects here at Emory University and beyond accessible to a worldwide audience. It also shares additional resources and materials that could not be presented within the exhibit space. These supplements include a curated list of environmental humanities books across a variety of disciplines, from African American Studies to World History, as well as abstracts and links to publicly accessible oral history projects examining a range of issues including environmental activism, natural resource usages, and climate change.
“Do I dare disturb the universe?” is the third in a series highlighting Emory Subject Librarians: http://web.library.emory.edu/research-learning/subject-librarians/index.html
