Emory has 8 libraries. Four of the libraries are located within the Woodruff Library building: the Woodruff Library itself, Goizueta Business Library, the Heilbrun Music and Media Library, and the Stuart A. Rose Manuscript, Archives and Rare Book Library. There is also the Woodruff Health Sciences Center Library, the Oxford College Library, and the MacMillan Law and Pitts Theology libraries.
During the regular semester, the Woodruff Library building is open 24 hours, from 11am Sunday to midnight Friday. Closed Friday and Saturday nights. During final exams, we are open 24/7 even on the weekend.
You’ll find a variety of spaces within the Woodruff Library building: Peet’s coffee shop, quiet study spaces & group study rooms, and specialized labs and equipment spaces. And get access to a huge variety of software (Photoshop, iMovie and more).
Our subject-specialist librarians can help you with your research. Or get help via email, chat or in person at the Library Service Desk on Level 2 of the Woodruff Library building.
We have all sorts of resources for your research projects — journal articles, newspapers, streaming resources, books and ebooks, and unique collections of primary sources.
