Who is eligible to participate in the study?
We are recruiting young women, ages 15 to 24, living in the metro Atlanta area. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent to participate.
What will participants do?
This is a one-year study, in which participants will complete in-person surveys once a year and short monthly surveys. During the first in-person visit, participants will be asked to provide a sample of blood and a few strands of hair collected from the back of the scalp.
What kinds of questions are asked in the survey?
The surveys cover a wide-range of topics, including information about your daily life, relationships, and personal health experiences. You may skip questions that you feel uncomfortable answering and you can stop the survey at any point.
